The second noise collaboration in split tracks by Japanese sound/noise artist Yasuyuki Uesugi and Portuguese visual Artist Pedro Inock, will be available online for free on Bandcamp.
The Seven Scales of Displeasure is a Noise collaboration spanning over 2 hours within 7 tracks, exploring the fields of Anger, illness ,and place fueled by Yasuyuki’s anger and vision of the world troughout his ASD lens and Inock’s more cool down and reflective approach on the matter . Two very different worlds and creative processes happen and complement each other in this noise/experimental release.

[Note] On the side of Yasuyuki Uesugi, the nuances and uniqueness of “not playing” but letting slight changes in the sound (due to the instability in his analog equipment) work with the effects of spring reverb, contrasts with the textured sounds of Pedro Inock’s [Still Earth] more metal/doom influences and ever-changing soundscape exploration. Despite their works falling under the same Noise umbrella, and even seeing this work as a whole deep listening experience, one must bear in mind that they require different listening approaches in order for its value and potency to truly manifest and cement the listener's attention.
Spectrum of anger is focused on the mind and its spiritual connection to the land, the possibility of mental illness, passing moments, and individual expression.
